The long story, because brevity outside of my job is not my strong point:My 81 year old father reached a point that keeping his large St. Petersburg property did not make financial or practical sense. Unfortunately, his vision had become significantly impaired, property insurance increased, physical maintenance was unmanageable at his age and fixed income, and he was (from a moral and legal perspective) being financially exploited repeatedly by at least two individuals. My sister and I could not contribute any more time or money when there's always someone in the wings ready to steal from him. My father conceded that it may be a good time to sell the home, pay off the mortgage and consumer debt, and split his time with us where we can actually help make his life easier.Enter Thomas... I contacted three different realtor/brokers, all well rated on Zillow and other services. Thomas is the only one who returned my call. And I'm so glad he did. Being in Florida, he knew exactly my problem and we developed timelines based around necessary legal actions, required repairs and the like. We had a generous but specific timeline to allow me to temporarily move to Florida, evict the freeloader, and declutter and do the necessarily repairs in order to list. Having these deadlines and dates was extremely helpful and important given I was still working my day job and a LOT of work to do to get the house together while still losing my mind regularly due to the situation, and missing my Ohio home and my spouse. In other words, Thomas "got" me and my style from the first phone call. Additionally, Thomas met my father and while my father has capacity and could certainly handle signing his own documents, he also knew that my father was not terribly interested in the process or handling anything. While I have a POA and the like, Thomas met my father and knew how this was all going to go down, LOL.Thomas and the brokerage has a very effective marketing system, complete with quality photography (including drone photos!), 3-D video walkthroughs, and of course, feeding into the MLS system. The showing system was excellent and gave me control of showings, and weeded out the looky-loos and only allowed quality buyers to view. The price set was well researched at our initial meeting, and Thomas actually listed higher than we discussed, after he saw the property and did even more research.I'm not much of a phone person unless it's easier, and Thomas was great at responding to my texts with various questions or concerns. He help me stay the course on not dropping the price of the house. When we did get offers, I thought Thomas was very clear in discussing the pros and cons of each offer and I had no issue asking his opinion as to his thoughts on the offers. Once the offer was accepted, Thomas was still right there with the updates, deadlines, issues that pop up along the way... right to the very last hour before closing! Thomas is a funny, knowledgeable and empathetic individual as well as a top notch realtor. He is very skilled at making people feel at ease, adapting to their preferred communication styles and matching the tone, even. He never, ever entered the realm of b.s. - he was always straight up with me, and could give me the honest opinion and couch it in ways that made me laugh and feel heard and understood. It came down to the wire, but he got me home by Thanksgiving. Thomas' help and advice from start to finish made my four months in Florida, and every repair, bruise, cut, mental breakdown and exhaustion doable, survivable and worth it in the end.Thomas is a great human, and a great realtor. You will not regret having Thomas as your agent.

Thomas is an outgoing knowledgeable agent who goes out of his way to make the sale of the property go smoothly and quickly. I praise Thomas for having my back through a difficult situation in my life. He's very prompt when returning phone calls and getting you the information you need. Thomas is upbeat and easy to get along with. You can trust this man to do everything possible to sell your home.

Thomas is both amiable and knowledgeable. I dreaded the process and he was reassuring. One realtor was leaving the house unlocked and not even present when the prospective buyers were there. Unacceptable at anytime and Thomas took care of that issue quickly. He made special trip to the house to secure it and keep me posted. I do appreciate him for doing that little extra for me.
